How to Restore America…

After studying English and American history, I found certain principles that created American self-government and liberty and only by restoring these principles can America be restored. Here are some of those principles:

  • A unity within the community based on a shared value system from the Ten Commandments or God’s law

  • Local municipal polities based on the family, neighborhood, town, county, and state. This comes from Exodus 18:21

  • Elected leadership who share and represent community values and with the moral fiber to refuse personal gain, and who fear God

  • A weekly community gathering for inculcating community values and for raising up leadership – called the Sabbath

THE MISSION

Our Mission is to restore these principles into the fabric of American society. Begin the mission of America’s restoration by fulfilling the following steps…

  • Step 1. Organize your family, friends, and groups according to Exodus 18.21 – communities of 10 persons, 50, 100, and 1000 with a leader over each

  • Step 2. Keep the Sabbath: solicit friends to join you in a home study group in order to learn the principles of our constitutions, God’s law, and the laws of the land. Go to the Free Lessons on this site and join a discussion group.

  • Step 3. Elect leaders in your groups and to public office who declare Jesus “our Lord” according to the US Constitution’s subscription clause, and who’s moral rectitude is based on the Supreme Judge of the world according to America’s Declaration of Independence

  • Step 4. Work to establish Article VIII, a constitutional amendment, to the United States Constitution. See Article VIII on this site

God’s Law in Action

– Read the Following Definition of True Religion

  • True religion or God’s religion is the use of just law for the sake of justice. The primary work of true religion is to create a law-abiding citizen.

  • The doctrine of true religion is found in that divine knowledge that is written or imprinted upon the heart and is confirmed by Revealed law or that law divinely spoken called the Ten Commandments. For example, the Eighth Commandment “You shall not steal” is a law divinely spoken on Mt. Sinai and yet it is a law that is strongly and powerfully imprinted upon the human heart.

  • God Himself demonstrated the nature and work of true religion when He engraved on stone tablets His Commandments and by the inspiration of His Spirit, the Apostle Paul wrote of engraving the same law upon the tablets of the human heart.

  • The duty and ministry of true religion is the work of engraving divine law onto the human heart thereby creating a formidable barrier to criminal passions and tendencies; hence, the making of a law-abiding citizen.

Let’s begin the  work of true religion…

*Commandment “You shall not steal”

Step 1) What is the definition of “stealing”?

Scenario 1

John is walking down the street when a man named Burgess approaches him with a weapon and insists John hand over his wallet. Fearing for his life, John hands his wallet over to Burgess who then runs off with it.

How do you feel about the crime?

What if John, who is very poor, was heading to the pharmacy with his last few dollars in order to buy his sick daughter medicine.

How do you feel about the crime now?

What if John’s daughter without the medicine became gravely ill.

How do you feel about the crime now?

To make up the loss, John had to work more hours at work keeping him from tending to his sick daughter.

How do you feel about the crime?

Conclusion:

Do you have a greater understanding to the potential consequences of robbery and the need for society to end robbery?

If your answer is “yes,” it is because you have engraved a deeper impression of that divine law that already exists in your heart and in doing so you have become more enlightened – the work of true religion.

*Commandment “You shall not murder”

Step 1) What is the definition of “murder” ?

Scenario 2

Mr. Johnson walks into a bank to deposit his paycheck. While waiting in line for a teller, a gunman suddenly opens fire and Mr. Johnson is killed.

How do you feel about the crime?

What if Mr. Johnson was the sole income earner of a family of four and now his wife and children are without a means of financial support?

How do you feel about the crime?

What if Mr. Johnson owned a small struggling business with several dependent employees and due to his death the business could no longer operate?

How do you feel about the crime?

Conclusion:

Do you have a greater understanding to the potential consequences of murder and the need for society to end murder?

If your answer is “yes,” it is because you have engraved a deeper impression of that divine law already existent upon your heart and in doing so you have become more sensible – the work of true religion.

*Commandment “You shall not give false testimony”

Step 1) What is the definition of “false testimony”?

Scenario 3

Mr. Peterson is accused of crime of murder. He pleads innocent. At trial, Mr. Peterson’s neighbor takes the witness stand and falsely testifies that he saw Mr. Peterson commit the crime. Mr. Peterson is found guilty and receives the death penalty.

How do you feel about the crime?

What if Mr. Peterson had three children ages 6 months old, 2 years old, and 4 years old?

How do you feel about the crime?

What if Mr. Peterson spent his free time helping the handicap?

How do you feel about the crime?

Conclusion:

Do you have a greater understanding to the potential consequences of false testimony and the need for society to punish false testimony?

If your answer is “yes,” it is because you have engraved a deeper impression of that divine law already existent upon your heart and in doing so you have experienced the work of true religion.

*Commandment “You shall not commit adultery”

Step 1) What is the definition of “adultery”?

Scenario 4

Matt and Judith have been married twenty years. They have three children. Both Matt and Judith have worked hard to set aside money for college for the children and money for retirement. Suddenly, Matt says he is leaving Judith for another woman.

How do you feel about Matt’s actions?

What if the court divided Matt and Judith assets equally, and what was once a good retirement savings became decimated by the division?

How do you feel about Matt’s actions?

Although Judith has been given child support, Judith has to use her retirement to make ends meet.

How do you feel about Matt’s actions?

What if Judith has to sell the house and move into an apartment with 3 children. She also applies for food stamps and other welfare benefits?

How do you feel about the crime?

Conclusion:

Do you have a greater understanding to the potential consequences of adultery and the need for society to end adultery?

If your answer is “yes,” it is because you have engraved a deeper impression of that divine law already existent upon your heart…

MOVING THE SOUL TOWARD PERFECTION

Your SOUL is programmable….

A thought etched into your soul creates belief…

Culture, books, media, and people, doctrine will program your soul automatically…

Evil is bad programming….it is a bad thought etched into the soul….

You can reprogram the soul….

“…take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” 2 Cor. 10:5

Reprogramming is the process of weaving thoughts into the soul…

Use the high ideals and thoughts of GOD’S WORD.

Example

“Love your neighbor as yourself.”  Mark 21:12

What does ‘love  your neighbor’ mean?

Think of ways you can put this into action?

Daily  – think and act on “love your neighbor” and begin weaving it into your soul and grow into godly perfection.

Example

“Deny yourself” Mark 8:28

What does ‘deny yourself’ mean?

What temptations could you encounter?

Daily  – practice ‘deny yourself’ against temptations to weave it into your soul and grow into godly perfection.

Jesus: “You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.” John 15:3

If you reached this far congratulations. True religion is the work of justice and perfection. On the Sabbath invite your family and friends for day of true religion by going through the law of Moses and Gospels inculcating God’s law and wisdom. What is ARTICLE VIII – Union of Holy Assemblies?

Article VIII is a proposed amendment to the US Constitution that restores those ancient principles of liberty required for the protection of life, liberty, and property. It has twelve sections. Each section is explained at this site.

Article VIII  – Union of Holy Assemblies

Section 1 Since the people are only happy when living under laws they have consented to, and indispensable to their pursuit of happiness is to love God with all heart, soul, and strength, we do ordain and establish the Sabbath, the seventh day, as a day of holy assemblies. Therefore, all inhabitants of this Union shall make this day free of all labor and recreation, except for necessity and mercy, and they shall devote themselves to the deliberation, inculcation, and review of all laws, statutes and ordinances both human and divine, and on this day they shall inquire, investigate and review the actions, integrity, motivations, and character of their public servants against the character and motives of Christ, and the freeman shall elect those worthy of public office and remove those unworthy, and since suffrage is a civil action that delegates sovereign power, every vote by every freeman shall be published with the reasons and supporting principles as a matter of public record.

Section 2 For the protection of life, liberty, and property, all inhabitants and citizens from age twelve shall enter into a tithing of ten persons under the authority of a tithingman; a deputy shall have authority over five tithings, a constable over ten and a judge over a hundred; the highest court of the each state shall have twelve judges over twelve circuits and the Supreme Court of the United State the same; the governor of the state and President of the United States shall vote in a divided court; each officer elected.

Section 3 Since it is the sacred duty of the people as sovereign to be enlightened and capable in law, a knowledge of the obligations and duties of our constitutions, God’s moral law and law of the land is required for receiving the Oath of a Freeman, and it shall be a pledge to guard and defend the rights and liberties belonging to the people before an examining committee of elders, and a written charter of citizenship shall be signed by all parties, and this charter shall grant citizen privileges within the Union and resident state.

Section 4 To ensure the good and moral administration of all government powers, the Oath of Fealty shall be required for any freeman seeking public office, for the ministry of law, of education, and by judgment the work of the physician. It shall be a personal testimony that Jesus is “our Lord” according to our Constitution and God is the Supreme Judge of our rectitude according to the Declaration, affirmed by a holy life. This affirmation shall be by committee of elders under the freeman’s oath who shall examine the moral convictions, good behavior, and personal integrity of each candidate seeking public office or any person in office by two or more complaints. The committee shall determine the eligibility of the candidate for Oath of Fealty for public office by evidence of all public and private testimonies and other reports, and its decision may be appealed.

Section 5 Since the strength of the union depends on the strength of the family, we acknowledge marriage to be a union of one man and one woman chartered with rules for the governing powers according to Scripture and sealed by payment of the bride price. The joining of man and woman as one is marriage according to law incurring all legal responsibilities. No marriage shall be granted to those who have violated the marriage covenant to the loss of the Oath of a Freeman and Fealty.

Section 6  Since the spirit of idolatry and atheism has confounded the moral standard of right and wrong thereby creating vicious factions leading to civil perversions and tyranny by law, the God of Israel shall be our only God and His law shall reign. Therefore, we ordain the revealed law given to Moses and the law by the hand of Moses, excepting the sacrificial requirements, and of the Apostles and Christ Jesus to be the fundamental law of our common and civil law and is the law of the land. Life begins at conception and is protected. Imprisonment as punishment shall not be endured nor sanctioned. No more than forty lashes shall be inflicted for felony crimes with a loss of oath. The punishment for incorrigible felonious behavior is death, and murder shall receive no mercy.

Section 7 All enacted laws shall be stamped with the Seal of  יְהוָה  and any law repugnant to the holy common law shall be unconstitutional. No one shall misuse the Seal of  יְהוָה  without penalty.

Section 8 So God may dwell among us, the land granted to the Jewish people by the God of Israel shall be recognized, and they shall build the House of God.

Section 9 The festivals of the Lord shall be required in our union of family states as a lasting memorial. The State and Federal Twelve shall gather in Jerusalem at Tabernacles for training in constitutional principles and law, unless circumstances prohibit.

Section 10  To defeat oppression by taxation in our federal republic, ten percent of earned income shall be the only personal tax, and there shall be no tax on residential real property. Because a debt of one generation cannot be given to another, being taxation without representation, all public debt shall be forgiven in the year of Jubilee. All private debt shall be forgiven at the appointed seventh year. No other debt shall be forgiven except according to law.

Section 11 To extend the right of a republican form of government to every inhabitant, the freemen in communities of 10,50,100,1000,city, county, state, and Union shall establish constitutions in accordance with the Unanimous Declaration, the Constitution with Article VIII. The freemen in convention shall amend or repair their state and federal constitutions in the year of Jubilee, and in other times provided.

Section 12 Since a general authority of limited powers over nation states is the proven hope for domestic tranquility among free and independent republics, entrance into this Union shall not be denied to any established nation or state with a republican form of government, and by the adoption of the Unanimous Declaration, the United States Constitution with Article VIII in convention. Any member may dissolve its membership in this Union by a two-thirds majority in a state convention, but no nation has a right to corrupt itself according to the ethics of divine law without offending this Union.

SECTION 12 – ENTRANCE INTO THE UNION OF HOLY ASSEMBLIES

{Article VIII Section 12} Since a general authority of limited powers over nation states is the proven hope for domestic tranquility among free and independent republics, entrance into this Union shall not be denied to any established nation or state with a republican form of government, and by the adoption of the Unanimous Declaration, the United States Constitution with Article VIII in convention. Any member may dissolve its membership in this Union by a two-thirds majority in a state convention, but no nation has a right to corrupt itself according to the ethics of divine law without offending this Union.

Purpose

The purpose of this amendment is to allow access in the American Federation of States by acceptance and institution of the principles of the Declaration of 1776 and US Constitution with Article VIII.

Explanation

A constitution forming a body politic moves mankind from a State of Nature to a State of  Civil Society, that is, from a position of independent jealousy, ambition, and self-interest to a position of mutual interest and brotherhood.  In the State of Nature, the law of nature is executed by the victim in order to secure justice, but in a civil society, this right of executing justice is delegated to a chosen magistrate. In the State of Nature, justice suffers from the personal passions of the injured while in the State of Civil Society justice is secured by the disinterestedness of the official.

Historically, the first civil charter to take mankind from the State of Nature and into a State of Civil Society is the marriage covenant. The family is the first civil society. The husband ruled over the family, and the senior patriarch of the family was the judge.

The next step in the expansion of organized peace is the joining of two or more families into a city. Two families who are strangers with their own customs must behave according to the rules of nature subservient to self-interest, but when different families charter together to form a city, they sacrifice the weakness of nature for the strength of civil society based on mutual agreed principles.

The next step in the advancement of peace is the union of independent cities. A nation or state advances peace by taking numerous cities out from the wilds of nature and placing them into a state of civil certainty and justice.

The next expansion of domestic tranquility is the expansion of civil society among free and independent republics. To move all the nations out from the unpredictability of national autonomy and into a family of states is the hope of mankind, and fortunately, Providence has supplied the means – a time test Charter and Constitution with a proven history of success: the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution. These charters are international compacts between free and independent republics designed by men who saw the need of a general tribunal over independent nation/states in order to solve disputes between various international communities. Operating successfully between fifty American republics, the US Constitution and Declaration is the immediate and future hope of mankind, and relying on Providence and the manifest destiny of America, we expect all nations to find refuge and satisfaction as a member of the United States of America – a new world order.
